What about the 2021 roadmap for TXL?

I was very pleased with this announcement by the Tixl Team in Medium. Let me try to explain why.

What is Tixl

In the very beginning, they state their intention: 

"The ultimate goal is to have one single high-performance network for all tokens."

This is big! And notice they don't say "we want to replace bitcoin" or "we want to replace whatever". Because that is not what this project is about. In fact, I said it before and I will say it again: Tixl is the project that could make BTC become what it wanted to be from the very beginning - a digital currency that is used globally.

What is Tixl's main product

The team states very clearly: 

"Our main product was and is the Autobahn Network. This will stay our core product."

Now that they've implemented support fot BTC and ETH/ERC20, they will work on making the Autobahn better: they will implement decentralization, perform audits and connect more networks. This is the birth of a core product maintenance/support team in the organization. I'm not saying that they should create a team inside Tixl's organization to take care of this, I'm just saying that these are activities related to core product maintenance and support and there are specific processes for these activities.

The team's focus

The article also mentions that now, the most important step is the development of interoperable Smart Contracts and dApps.

To be honest, I think this was the part I liked most in this article and the reason was the language they used. This gave me and idea on how Marketing will be done in the future.

First of all, they want to attract developers and other projects to use the Autobahn Network, and this pitch is very strong.

"Why would crypto projects build on Ethereum if they had a faster and cheaper underlying platform?"

"Why would they build on Polkadot if they had a platform for ANY digital asset rather than interoperability via bridges and between parachains?"

Second, would be a direct message to more savvy crypto investors - people who have been investing in cryptos for some time, using Uniswap or other DEXs and are kind of upset with the problems they see there, and demand better.

"Imagine DeFi without time-consuming confirmations and fees and the possibility to connect any application to Tixl’s Autobahn Network — forming one big ecosystem."

Third, would be talking to business-to-consumer companies.

"What would E-Commerce and Retail do if any currency transaction was instant and nearly fee-less?"

And a final message to almost all other crypto currencies in the world (I would say, specifically, the stable coins - but not limited to them).

"How would people in countries with weak currencies react if they had decentralized, stable, instant, and minimal-fee-transactions for everything?"

If you analyze all these quotes you might conclude, like I did, that these are use cases, directed to different types of people. And keep this in mind: Tixl has to have these different messages because it should be clear now, how big this project really is.

The importance of the Tixl Wallet

The team also mentions how important it is to have the mobile Tixl Wallet for mainstream adoption. Once again, this only shows how connected to reality the team is while they still mention to us (the anxious people - me included - that want to see the wallet implemented yesterday), that the priority is interoperable smart contracts and dApps.

They know that the critical path for success goes thru the Smart Contracts first. Even though they are doing work in parallel, they know very well what needs to be the focus.

The cross-chain bridge

Born as a parallel project, the Cross-Chain Bridge is finding its space. To be honest, I don't know what their plan is, but I understand they are preparing something to make it easy for people to jump into the Autobahn and I like that because we want people to bring their tokens into the Autobahn. Whatever tool they develop for that, it has to be user-friendly and high-volume capable. I trust they will do something great here, once again.

Other (Partner) Products

Here, I just like the fact that they are very open with what happened and what is going on. Partnership with Schnitzelswap DEX and the issues with tixl.finance.

Privacy

This is a subject that deserves an article just for itself. I will write one very soon, but something very interesting was mentioned by the team: they are ready to implement privacy, as long as regulations get sorted out. I will discuss how important I think privacy is soon.

Conclusion

These are great times! With all that has been announced and delivered, if we were in a bull market, $TXL would certainly jumped to US$2. Just like it jumped from $0.06 to $0.60 in January. The team is not worried because they have a plan and they are following it. That means they are spending effort according to the plan and the plan states that Marketing will grow as more products are delivered. For all I know, as products are delivered, some price appreciation will come.

Whoever was able to buy $TXL token recently, at prices around $0.13 has got a huge deal because all we need is very small market attention to get it to jump to US$2. At that point, we might start to see more Marketing coming in and that's when we'll start to see the real exponential growth start to happen.

Let's stay calm. Attacks on bitcoin will always happen and they will always affect prices of every other crypto coin in the world. In the long term, I see a very bright future for Tixl and $TXL holders.
